What types of photography sessions do you offer?

I am currently offering family, newborn, branding/ headshot, senior, and couples photography sessions. I offer both lifestyle and candid sessions for each of those.

What is the difference between a lifestyle and candid  photography
session?

During a lifestyle session I will give you some direction here and there, but I still want to capture some genuine moments. I usually get a few photos of everyone looking at the camera as well. A candid sessions means I don't tell anyone what to do ever. Candid sessions are best to do when everyone has an activity. It could include a new activity or a typical, everyday activity. Examples include: cooking, playing music, giving your kiddos a bath, creating art, exploring a new part of town, etc. The options are endless.

Where are you located?

I live in Westlake so I love to plan sessions in the nearby areas such as Westlake (of course), Bay Village, Rocky River, Avon, Avon Lake, Lakewood, Fairview Park, Cleveland, North Olmsted, Olmsted Falls, & beyond! I am open to sessions that are on the East side as well, however I do have an additional fee when I am driving beyond 20 miles one way for a location.

Can we get the RAW files?

I don’t sell unedited files. Hiring a professional photographer means getting a professional experience from start to finish. We will go to a beautiful location (which could include your home) where I will use light, composition, layers, storytelling, creativity, and more to best photograph you. The professional experience keeps going after our session when I get back to my office to professionally cull and edit your gallery of images with actions and artwork that has taken me years to create. My name is behind every image you walk away with, so I sell only fully edited images that stand up to the body of work you saw when viewing my featured galleries and blog posts.

How do I book a Session with  you?

Once you fill out my contact form I can send you a Session Guide with more information. After reading through you can chose the photography collection you are interested in booking. Then you'll get a Questionnaire to fill out. I want to be sure that we are both the right fit for each other. Once the Questionnaire is completed we'll decide upon the right date and time. You'll receive a contract. After signing, a link will be provided for your deposit. Then you are officially booked! It sounds like a lot, but you'll find the process goes smoothly.

What do I wear to my session?

After booking a session with me I will send you my Style Guide! It goes over all the info for choosing outfits - what to do and what not to do! In addition to the style guide, I have an amazon storefront of options for everyone too! You can always text me photos and I will help that way as well. I want to be accessible and never want any part of this to be stressful.

How much does a session cost?

Most of my collections start at $450, however I do offer a headshot package for $350 as well. You will get all of the pricing information in the Session Guide.

Will I be able to see every image from my session?

Short answer: No. I sort through all of the images from our session, I choose to edit the ones that best represent you. I love to give you the images where there are beautiful expressions and priceless moments being captured. You are the one who gets to choose which images you want that come with your package. You are also able to purchase additional images or the whole gallery (whole gallery comes at a discounted price).

Can we do a session on the weekend?

I save my weekends for family time. I will occasionally offer mini sessions to previous clients on the weekend. Other than that it is weekdays!

Do you offer products?

Yes! I offer a full range of products from prints, various photo books, canvases, calendars, greeting cards, metal prints, matted frames, and more. I work with labs all over the world to offer the finest products for your keepsakes.

What is your retouching philsophy?

I want you to look like you but also love how you look! I may do a little retouching on someone's face, but I do not alter body types or do head swaps. I want you AND the moment to look as real and as genuine as it truly is.

CAN WE DO A MINI SESSION?

I typically only offer mini sessions to previous clients. They are held on the date and location of my choosing and are first come first serve. Mini sessions are good way to quickly get updated photos, however, I prefer capturing more moments and not feeling rushed throughout the process.

Can we schedule the session time whenever we want?

I do my best to plan your session during the best time to get the best light. If it's outdoors that will be right after sunrise or before sunset. If it's in your home we will discuss what time of day gets the best light, but will more likely be the middle of the day. I understand that children’s schedules can be tricky, and that it would be easier for everyone to shoot during the middle of the day, but I only shoot outside at sunset or sunrise because this will create the most beautiful gallery of images for you.

Do you have a studio?

I do not have a studio. Depending on the type of session there are many options of locations to consider. If it's a family, newborn, couple, or even branding session they can all be done in your home. Another location for branding could be in your office, art studio, downtown, etc. depending on what you do. I obviously love the outdoors for sessions as well. From urban settings to nature settings we can go anywhere!

Do you use artificial light?

I'm all natural, baby! Ha! Meaning I use all natural light. If your session is inside I will send you a whole guide on how to prepare for it. One thing will definitely be turning off all the lights! In some situations with certain photography sessions I may have to use artificial lights that are on in a building, studio, coffee shop, etc.

How do I prepare my home for an in-home session?

If you are doing an in-home session with me fear not! I have a whole guide that goes over everything, including what to expect. You'll know exactly what to do to make your space ready to go without stress. Additionally, I ask questions in the guide to see if there are any rooms off limits, where the best light is and when, etc. At the end I go over tips so we are all on the same page. I want your in-home session to be stress free and fun. The focus should be on capturing new memories in your beautiful home.
