Wow! I had so much fun taking Anna’s senior pictures!! Not only is this girl gorgeous, but she was laid back, easy to work with, and we both had a great time! I also can’t believe I got to take photos of her with the horse that she rides!! What a cool new experience for me! We had a beautiful day for photos too – a beautiful fall day that finally warmed up a little bit with the sunshine.

We went to a few different locations for photos. We went to a park and also the place where her horse lives. The photos from the park are the ones you see with the pink and purple flowers, the bridge, the small pond, etc. We were at the park first and then headed over to the horse stable. There we did a few of just Anna alone but then got the horse out for his debut! One thing I need to mention is that Anna rocked the ‘serious’ look! I was so impressed because that is something that I am not all that great with (for the rare times I’m in front of the camera), but she really wanted some photos with a serious face and did amazing. I love that we got those, but also a lot where she is smiling and even laughing!

Anna has been riding horses for years so it was only fitting that the current horse she is riding, Sherlock, be photographed with her! I don’t have much experience with horses photography-wise or in general, but I was SO EXCITED to take her photo with him! He seemed to be a great horse, I liked him more and more as I got to know him. He was very gentle and was pretty cooperative during the whole thing. I loved having him there because then Anna was able to have someone, or something, else to interact with, which is always fun! Thanks for making it such a great session Anna (& Sherlock)!! I wish you all the best at OSU next year!
