Meet the Carr Family! It was wonderful to finally meet Tara and Eli after emailing as well as meet their super cute 4-month old little one, Brayden! He really is such a cute little guy!!!

I had such a great time with the Carr family during their session EVEN THOUGH it ended up being FREEZING cold at the Lake! There were a few warm days before and of course this one wasn’t, but we made due with what we had and still ended up with some awesome images!

We met at Rocky River Park so we could be near Lake Erie but also have some areas with grass and trees as spring was really starting up around us. Brayden was ALL ABOUT being held up high like an airplane – you could tell that was one of the things his parents did for him a lot and it always made him smile!

We decided to move down closer to the Lake and stopped at these really cool rocks for some photos of all three of them. This is one of my favorite spots because I love getting different angels of it. You would probably never guess that the two photos (above) were both taken in the same place.

Little Braydon was so cold so we took a little “break” (at least that’s what I let the family think) to get some extra close Mama snuggles to warm up. Of course, this is one of my favorite times to be shooting! I love how this image came out of the two of them together!

Again, I love how all three of these images are of them in the same place and sitting the same way, but all look so different.

Sweet Brayden was definitely the center of attention for this session! I hope when he sees these photos as an older boy/teenager/man that he will see all the love from his parents wrapped up in them as well!

We loved down to the sand on the beach of the lake and got a few more of the three of them together. This family was so sweet! I loved getting to capture these moments for them.

Of course we took some more time to get some images of just Tara with her Baby boy. I always try to get each parent with their child/children. It’s always nice when I can highlight the special bond a child has with each parent separately in an image. Don’t worry! We didn’t forget about Dad either!! I made sure to get some of just Eli and Brayden together and really wanted to focus in on those details.

Overall, despite the cold, chilly day, I had so much fun getting to know the Carr Family better and being their photographer!!
