I LOVED my time working with the Wlodyka Family! They had a package of newborn, 6 month, and ONE year sessions. This was our final one! I couldn’t believe little Cami was already a year old!! Time goes by too fast! We met at a park in Dublin (their home town and also where I grew up).

I spent some time getting some photos of just sweet Cami with each of her parents and then also some of just the Birthday girl, of course!

One reason that I love continuously working with families (or when a family picks a session with more than one session) is because you get to really see the growth and change over time – even if it’s just a year! There are SO MANY things happening during that first year and it’s incredible to see EVERY TIME! Like below – I couldn’t believe Cami was already walking!

Moms are the ones who are usually in photos the LEAST so it’s always been important to me to get some sweet images of just Mama with her kid/kiddo! I love these images of Jamie and Cami together. To me, these are timeless and will be treasured forever. There’s such a special bond between a Mom and daughter and this is just the beginning for them.

Of course I was also able to sit back and just watch this family have fun at the playgound together too. We got lucky that no one else was there so we had the whole place to ourselves! This made this session so fun for everyone and easy to take little breaks during too – except the breaks for them meant I got to continue shooting in a more documentary style type of way, which is something I love to do! You got to love a Dad who will ride the kiddie rides with the little ones too! Ha!
