Friends! This was one of my all time favorite lifestyle newborn sessions.. and not just because of the images that came from it (although I might be obsessed with all of them), but because these are my friends and this is the baby they have been waiting so long for…

Baby Beckham is now six months old and was just officially adopted to these two wonderful parents! If you’d like to read more about their story feel free to head over to their blog about it HERE.

Nate and Kinsey are some of the strongest people I know and I think because of their story they are even better parents. I know that this sweet baby boy is cherished and loved so well by both of them.

To say that I was thankful to be able to capture these new parents with their brand new, 9 day old babe, would be an understatement! I was ecstatic and counting down the days until it was time for the session!

Focusing on those sweet, small details is one of my favorite things to do. Beckham was such an easy baby to work with too! Sleeping so much of the time and just being super chill.

You could tell that Kinsey and Beckham already had a great connection from the start! It’s easy to see the love between the two of them in these photos alone.

Of course seeing Nate with Beckham was just adorable. It’s obvious that he treasures his son, but also is ready to have a lot of fun with him too!

This session just reminded me of how important photography is – especially newborn photography. Babies and little ones grow and change so quickly and it’s so easy to forget how small they once were. Mostly, though, I love that one day Beckham will be able to look at these photos of him with his parents and see how much he was loved from the very beginning.

Of course we couldn’t leave Winston, the dog, out of the session!

There’s just something about a Mom with her baby. I realize this is going to be a long post with lots of over sharing, but I think by now my obsession for these images is understood. Kinsey just adores him and getting to have a job that gets to witness that is so great!

I’m also a sucker for crib shots…

Let me just take a moment to share more images of the nursery as well…. it was insanely cute! I’m hoping to have Kinsey become my own personal home stylist one day.

This entire home is so beautiful and styled just right. Such great taste and everything from the decor to the clothing to the swaddle was so cohesive. It made my job even easier!!
