What an honor it is to be able to photograph friends as they begin their journey into parenthood. I’m posting this session over two years late (blogging is not my thing), but I wanted to post it today and to also show that even when it’s a super cloudy Cleveland day, you can still achieve that bright and airy look if that’s what you’re wanting for your session. Now, my editing style has changed a bit since then, but when my clients prefer bright and airy I do my best to get it for them. We open all the windows and bring as much light into the room as possible. For example, here is a before and after image from their session:

Not only did I want to show that, but it’s time I put this sweet family on here! I loved capturing all of little Merritt’s features and facial expressions as well as how sweet her parents are with her… not to mention the images of their dog Ellie too! Their nursery was done up so well I had to capture all of the details of that as well. So here are some of my favorite images (finally) featured below! Enjoy!
