I had the joy of meeting the Messner family through the auctioning of a Session for a good cause. We decided on doing the session at Edgewater Park – but mainly using the beach. I probably write this in every beach session post (or at least I probably will whenever I get around to them all) how THANKFUL I am for living so close to the Lake and having such beautiful outdoor areas to use for photography. The beach is one of my FAVORITE places to go for sessions, especially because the sun sets right over the water!!

The Messner family and I met up at the Edgewater and loved how laid back Clint and Laurie were right from the beginning! A note to parents: if you decide to have your session at the beach expect your kids to get dirty. Most families I photograph do already, but just sayin’. They knew their young boys would get into things, go in the water, play in the sand, all of it! I was able to capture some beautiful moments of them playing and enjoying the gorgeous day we had. I know we all had fun, which is one of my main goals for every session. Enjoy the images of this lovely family below.
