As thankful I am to be back in business, as I have said other times, I am only doing outdoor photography sessions because of COVID-19. Typically a Newborn Photography Session would be done inside my client’s homes. Thankfully it’s summer and it’s certainly warm enough to bring your newborn outdoors now. Another bonus of doing outdoor newborn sessions right now is that they are only an hour long and therefore less expensive than a typical newborn session. I wanted to share what an outdoor newborn session was like with some recent clients of mine.
Meet the Morris Family (funny thing – Morris is my maiden name, but there are a lot of us and this family we new to me), a super cute foursome living in Akron, Ohio. I had just done an outdoor maternity session for them 6 feet apart the day before the in-home order was put in place for Ohio. The health and safety of my clients is the most important thing, so that is why I continue to do outdoor sessions for the time being.
Sweet little (or not so little) Vinny here was born and I couldn’t wait to see this family again!! Capturing them as not only a family of four, but also a family with two under two was really fun. You can see in a lot of the images that big sister, Carmelina, is still so young, and as most toddlers do, wanted to do her own thing. I still enjoyed capturing her playing with sticks, running around, and even lifting a very heavy rock that her Dad did put back (just wait for the image of her crying about it, ha)!
There are a lot of sweet moments captured with this family EVEN THOUGH their session was outdoors. Please take the time to scroll down and see all the beautiful moments! Thank you Morris Family for being so laid back and go with the flow despite all the changes that came with COVID-19.
