I am so excited to share Shanna’s session! Working with small businesses is a genuine passion of mine – probably because I have my own small business and I understand exactly what it means to need great images that represent who you are. And downtown Rocky River turned out to be the perfect backdrop for these Rocky River headshots – that charming small town feel with just enough of an urban edge makes it one of my favorite spots for branding and headshot sessions on the west side!

Why do Small Businesses need photography?

Photography is so important for small businesses! You will need images for so many things. Start with your website – it is important to show your work, your space, your product, and your face to the world. Then there is social media. As someone who does Rocky River headshots and branding photography I can create so much content for your social media presence. And do not forget business cards, flyers, advertisements, and more. Having a variety of images is really important for any business of any size!

This Rocky River Headshots Session – And a Very Special Guest!

Shanna only needed some lifestyle headshots for her website and we decided to make them look as natural and approachable as possible so she could truly look like herself. The best part of this whole session? Shanna got to bring her dog along! That was something that really showed off who she is as a person. Having her dog there also made her feel completely natural and comfortable in front of the camera right from the start – and it shows in every single image. Downtown Rocky River gave us so many great spots to work with too. The charming streets, interesting textures, and beautiful light make it such a wonderful location!

Locations for Branding and Headshot Sessions

Different locations are so important to consider when planning a branding or headshot session. Depending on what your brand is all about it is hard to say exactly where you need to be. If you have a small shop we should definitely do your session there. If you just need fresh headshots then somewhere like downtown Rocky River works beautifully. If we are showing off a product I would want to be wherever that product would naturally be used. I will help you think through all of the options when planning your session!
