Nobody can deny it – spring is a beautiful season! The trees are starting to grow buds, flowers are starting to bloom, it is getting warmer by the day, and everyone is just happier because of it. As a Cleveland family photography enthusiast I LOVE spring time! Who doesn’t? And this session at Rockefeller Greenhouse in Cleveland was just the most perfect spring setting imaginable!

Cleveland Family Photography – Spring Location Ideas

There are so many great types of locations that work beautifully in the spring. Of course many people love sessions near blooming trees and flowers – and that is wonderful! But that does not always have to be the case. You can do a family session in an outdoor downtown area, in a field, in your home, or like this family did – in a gorgeous greenhouse! One of the best things about using a greenhouse like Rockefeller is that Cleveland weather is much less of a factor. It is so nice when you do not have to worry about rescheduling due to an unexpected rainy day – and if you have lived in Cleveland long enough you know how unpredictable spring weather can be!

I adored capturing this family. There were so many cute and funny moments with the children! I gave them some direction here and there but I wanted everything to flow as naturally as possible. As you can see there are images of the children alone, children together, each kiddo with each parent, and the whole family together. One thing I did not get was a shot of just the parents together – but when your little ones are this young and you do not have a stroller it can get tricky depending on the kids! We had such a fun time which is exactly what a family session should be. I am there to capture new memories of your family together – and Rockefeller Greenhouse gave us the most beautiful backdrop to do exactly that!
