This session took place two years ago and I’m so glad to finally be sharing it! I am not the best blogger, but always trying to be better. This took place in Fairview Park, Ohio. As a Westlake Family & Maternity Photographer and always I am looking forward to capturing families in new locations around Cleveland.

Maternity Can Also Mean Family

One thing that I think is important for expecting parents to know is that a maternity photography session doesn’t mean you can’t include the whole family! Some people even think a maternity session should just include the Mama. I disagree with this. I think it’s important to include everyone in a maternity session. Sometimes this does just mean a couple – for their first child. If you have other children though, they should come along and be a part of it! I love having everyone together and I think it only adds to the story that’s being told.

This Family & Maternity Lifestyle Session

I really loved my time with this family. It was my first time meeting them. Even though their little guy was pretty shy in the beginning, he became more comfortable as we went on. We even got some big smiles and laughs out of him too! Typically I would get some of just Mom and Dad together too, but I think he wanted to stick with them so that didn’t happen this time. You can still see how beautiful they are! This Mama is absolutely glowing and I adored the shots of her and her son. There were many beautiful ones of the three of them as well. We luckily had beautiful light coming in through the trees! Overall, I think this family is wonderful and loved how these turned out!
