This Family

This is one of my all time favorite families. I have been photographing them since the very beginning in 2013 and every year since. I also appreciate them so much because they have trusted me for so long to capture their family moments. It is an honor when a family chooses me to do that once, but coming back again year after year means so much more. When I get to work with the same people over and over again we truly build a great relationship and friendship. This only makes each session more relaxed and more fun!

This Family In-Home Lifestyle Photography Session

I always enjoy time around this family. Not only are we relaxed but we laugh and have a lot of fun together! You will see that we started out in the parents’ bedroom and they got to wear their jammies! I truly think this is genius! Not only is everyone so comfortable but it makes them extra relaxed. Before moving on I got a few shots of just Mom and Dad in there. Next I spent a little time getting some photos of each kid in their own room. For Lucy we made sure to incorporate books because she loves reading. For Graham I got some of him on his bike later since that is one of his favorite things to do. Lastly we all went outside and I captured them on their patio and in the yard as well. I loved using each of these spaces for their session!

There are so many perks to in-home sessions! Kids need a break? They have a safe and comforting place to go. Someone needs a snack? No problem – your whole kitchen is available! Someone spilled something on their shirt after the snack of course, ha? Easy – just go change into your backup outfit. Have a pet? It has never been easier to include them. Everyone is more comfortable right off the bat and I get to document you in the place where you have already made countless memories. As a Cleveland lifestyle family photographer these are one of my all time favorite types of sessions!
