I am so excited to share this beautiful family session today! As a Cleveland lifestyle family photographer it truly is a joy to capture these moments and share them here on the blog. This one is extra special to me so let’s get into it!

Cleveland Lifestyle Family Photographer – A Fall Session at Fisher Farm

For this session we went to Fisher Farm in Davidson, North Carolina – this was during the two years our family lived in North Carolina, and it is one of my favorite sessions from that time. Davidson is right by Lake Norman and Fisher Farm was such a beautiful, spacious location during the fall. The leaves were all kinds of gorgeous colors, this family came dressed in the most perfect autumn outfits, and the golden hour light was just stunning. As you scroll through you will see exactly what I mean!

Lifestyle Family Photos

This family was so fun to work with! I loved how laid back they all were. We had a few moments where some of the kids fell and there were tears, but we always got back to smiles. And honestly those moments make for beautiful photographs too. Emotional photography can be full of heart in so many different ways. I do my best to make sure kids are having FUN and ENJOYING the session. It is all about making more memories and getting to capture those moments – whether they be joyful, tearful, simple, beautiful, or a little chaotic. As long as the moment is authentic I am there for it!

Family Session Tips From a Cleveland Lifestyle Family Photographer

There are so many tips I could give for family sessions but I will keep this concise! First, I truly believe that an hour length of time is the best. If you are after capturing true moments you need TIME to let them happen naturally. Second, make sure everyone is fed and happy before the session begins – that includes you parents too! Third, let it happen. Let’s be real, kids are probably going to run the show. That is okay! Enjoy it and live in the moment WITH them!
