I have been wanting to share a lifestyle newborn session for so long. As a Bay Village lifestyle newborn photographer I take A LOT of photos… especially during a newborn session. That means that these blogs take a little bit longer to create. I adore this family and am so excited to FINALLY share their images!! This newborn session was so full of love as you will see in each image!

This Newborn Session

As soon as I arrived this family was just beyond kind to me. At this point, it was the first time we met and I was very thankful they were so easy going. Their home is so gorgeous and they did a great job of cleaning things up, but still making it looked lived in. The big brother here could not have been sweeter. He gave everyone so many kisses and I loved getting to capture those moments! I knew Mom loves lifestyle photography as well, so we used many rooms throughout the home to photograph them in. I took time to get images of each family member on their own and moments between other members that didn’t include the baby as well.

Everyone gets a chance with baby

Moments naturally happen with different groups of people, the family as a whole, two together, etc. That made it easy to have a variety of images. Big brother wanted some with her, which I was able to get throughout the session, as well as Mom and Dad each. The beauty of my lifestyle newborn sessions is they are scheduled to be up to two hours long. If the baby needs to eat there will be time. If older siblings also need a snack there will be time. It allows for the moments to unfold so that I can get the most natural images of your memories together.

Baby Details

Additionally, it’s important to get images of the baby alone at each lifestyle newborn session. There are so many details to capture… from baby’s feet, to their hands, to the hair on their head. Babies don’t keep so it’s crucial to document them before they start changing too much. Documenting the nursery that thought goes into also matters. Below you will see a collage of the rustic and charming details this family put together for her nursery.
