What a fun family session this was! I love being able to go to a family’s home and photograph them in their own place. We started outside and luckily had a shady area to take some photos in. It was a HOT day, but we made it work for just a little bit of time! I love seeing the interaction between different members of the family – Charlie throwing his son Luke up in the air, the sweet way Jamie looks at her daughter Cameron, the sweet kiss Luke gave his Mama, etc.

The heat moved us inside quickly. We got some great photos in all areas of their house (as you can see from above and below). We spent time in the family room – on the floor and the couch like any typical family. We also spent some time in Jamie and Charlie’s bedroom with the whole family relaxing (and maybe also being a little silly). We also went into cameron’s nursery. It was wonderful to see the house and how the family lives in their different spaces.

Lastly, I always love capturing all of the sweet little details of a baby! Their tiny toes, feet, ears, belly button, fingers, etc. Cameron was a pretty happy baby and easy to work with, although she never did fall asleep during the session. I loved getting to see this family go from three to four and had such a great time documenting the four of them and the strong love and connection they have with each other.
