Typically I do more lifestyle sessions with small businesses and brands, however this one is a bit different. This small business is the most professional business I’ve worked with. Therefore, it was important to keep it their headshot and branding photos the same. As a Cleveland Business Headshot Photographer I will match your style of business with the work I produce for you.

Headshots & How They Differ

I wanted to be true to this company and to keep it on the professional side. Because of this I suggested we do the session at their actual office. I don’t use backdrops or flashes for my work. I want it to truly show what it’s like where they are working. When I got there I met everyone and they gave me a tour of the space. Lucky for me, their office had amazing light!

What Spaces To Use

Some people did have their own little office, however, the light really varied in each space and I wanted to use the best light there was. I decided I would set up two different places to take each person’s image. One at their conference table inside, and one right outside the building in the shade. Having only two areas – and only one inside – also meant that no one had to spruce up or tidy up any other spaces. This made the process so much quicker. Having two image options is always better than one. This way they could either each choose which image they liked the best, or use both in different areas on their website or social media.

I really enjoyed my time with these awesome people! Capturing them in their workplace and hanging out in between was so fun! Just wanted to quickly add, I love that we got a group shot at the end and we had a surprise visitor (one of their little ones came) and I had to get a shot of her in the business char too! She was so sweet and we all got a good laugh out of it (you’ll see it at the end).
