Charlotte Lifestyle Newborn Photography

Living in Mooresville, I am able to travel to Charlotte, Lake Norman, and the surrounding areas for newborn photography. It is important to know that my newborn sessions are typically done in your home, though I have done a few outdoors as well. I do not have a studio. Yes, you may need to tidy up a bit, but it is so worth it. I also have a guide for in-home sessions that you will get ahead of time that goes over all of the preparations you can do to be ready for a successful session. Lifestyle photography is very relaxed. I may give you some prompts and I will always tell you if something looks odd, but it’s not super posey. I am here to capture as many natural, candid moments as I can. Isn’t that what you will love to look back on more than anything else?

Lake Norman In-Home Newborn Sessions

I love doing newborn sessions in your own home for many reasons. First, you will be comfortable right off the bat – everyone in your family will – when you’re already in your home. Secondly, you don’t have to pack a bag to get ready. Everything you need is right there and available to you – a change of clothes, a break in the playroom for an older sibling, a snack, etc. Additionally, I love using your home because that is where you make the memories!! Why not capture them in action with me there?

This Newborn Session

This was my first time meeting this family. I could tell right away that they were kind and laid back, which is always great for me. The beauty of lifestyle newborn work is your baby doesn’t have to be super young. It is totally up to you when you want to schedule your session. I schedule newborn sessions anywhere from right away to your baby being three months old. This baby happened to be a little older, but I loved it just the same. Younger newborns don’t smile on their own just yet, but this cutie was older so we got a lot of them! I loved all of his sweet expressions. They are such a beautiful family and it was truly an honor to capture these memories for them.
