Cleveland Newborn Photographer – What Lifestyle Sessions Look Like

My sessions as a Cleveland newborn photographer are typically done right in your home, though I have done a few outdoors as well. Because I want everything to feel as natural as possible there is no studio here! Yes you may need to tidy up a bit but it is so worth it. Additionally you will receive a guide for in-home sessions ahead of time that goes over all the preparations to set you up for a successful day. Overall lifestyle newborn photography keeps things really relaxed – I may give you some prompts and will always let you know if something looks a little off, but nothing feels stiff or overly posed. The goal is to capture as many natural, candid moments as possible. And honestly those are the ones you will love to look back on more than anything else!

Why In-Home Newborn Sessions Are the Best

There are so many reasons to love doing newborn sessions in your home! First everyone in your family will feel comfortable right from the start since you are already in your own space. Second you do not have to pack a bag – everything you need is right there and available to you. A change of clothes, a snack, a break in the playroom for an older sibling – all of it is just steps away. Furthermore your home is where you actually make your memories together so why not capture them there with me?!

Cleveland Newborn Photographer – This Lakewood Session

This was my first time meeting this sweet family and right away I could tell they were kind and completely laid back – which is always so wonderful. Their session took place in Lakewood – one of my favorite west side communities to photograph in! One thing I love about lifestyle newborn work is that your baby does not have to be super young. It is totally up to you when you want to schedule your session! As a Cleveland newborn photographer I schedule sessions anywhere from right away to your baby being three months old. This little guy happened to be a bit older and I loved it just the same. Because younger newborns do not smile on their own yet this cutie gave us SO many of them – and I loved every single sweet expression. They are such a beautiful family and it was truly an honor to document these moments for them!
