I’m so excited to share this maternity session! This session took place this past June and in Cleveland. As a Cleveland lifestyle maternity photographer, I am looking forward to taking on even more maternity sessions here! It’s such a special time to capture!

This Lifestyle Maternity Photography Session

We decided the pier near the lake was a great spot for this maternity session! And as you can see from the weather, it was a beautiful, sunny day! We started a bit before sunset and finished just after. I love working with expecting couples. This are always so giddy and excited about the baby coming! These are dear friends of mine, so we were ready to have a fun time together. We did a lot of laughing and they did a lot of cuddling and kissing. I am so glad I was able to capture so many joyous moments for this sweet family!

Location, Variety, & Details

Exploring the pier was great and there were so many places to take great photos! The Cleveland sign is a hot spot for photo opts. Of course we had to use it as well. I also loved getting a variety of images for them. With the city on one side and the water on the other this location had so much to offer. I took some closer up to them, some far away, some with just Mama as well. There’s something about an image of just an expecting Mama by herself for a family to have as a keepsake. Pregnancy is such a short time of your life. It’s important to capture the moments of it while you can.

Here are a few tips for planning your Cleveland lifestyle maternity photography session. One important thing to note is to not schedule too close to your due date. You don’t want to worry about an early delivery or feeling super uncomfortable. I like to schedule them at least a month and a half before your due date. That way, your bump is still showing, but you are more comfortable as well. You also don’t want to worry about figuring this all out when you are expecting to delivery your baby in the near future.
